    Trident Blade 3d Problem

    Locked

    by notjimmydotcom ·

    I have a Trident Blade 3d/mvp4 (63) video adapter and a windows 98 OS. I can’t change my
resolution. I can change from 16 bit to 32 bit but the resolution bar won’t move. I’ve got the latest driver(trid_p3d.drv) Any suggestions?

      Check the following:

AGP Mini-port driver for your motherboard. (even if the video card is PCI)

      Version of DirectX installed.
(run dxdiag from the run box on the start menu)

      Monitor selection and driver.

Also, if the card is AGP, make sure that you have enough memory for the AGP apperature setting in BIOS settings.
I like to use 2X the video ram, up to 1/2 system RAM.

i have had the same problem with mine. i got the same video card. anyway, i have tried everything that the other guy said but this is what worked for me.. I moved the card over to a different slot and used a different login name, this worked.

also i took it out and installed another video card then put it back in and it worked. if you use LG power dvd to watch dvd’s dont go into widescreen in 32bit true color
