Hi errin.johnson@,

I understand you are having trouble creating a hyperlink for a PDF File on your system. Below steps should work for you

Place your pdf file in My Documents directory. Then, open a new excel file and select an empty cell

1.Click the Insert tab, and then click Hyperlink.
2.Ensure Existing File or Web Page is selected on the left hand-side of the Insert Hyperlink Window
3.Select My Documents from the Look in: dropdown.
4.Click on the pdf file in My Documents.
5.If you want texts to be displayed for the hyperlink, then type the desired text, in the Text to display field and then click OK.

This will create the hyperlink in the cell you choose and when you click on it should open the pdf from My Documents folder

Do post the results (if working or not)

You should have Adobe Reader on your computer or even better, Foxit .pdf reader. Not as bloated or slow as Adobe. If you have either I'm at a loss to help you.<br>
