Trojan - Start page

By 2arts ·
Two days ago my system got infected with StartPage.
I did the regit and msconfig thing thought I cleared it all out.
I then ran a symantic scan and it reported no virus found.
I am still getting popups like crazy and when I go to type a url in the address , it automatically puts a nkvd.us between the http:// and the www.
I am about to run a system recovery disc but that is another **** I'd hope to avoid.
Computer is a Medion - windows XP - intel 4 - most current yersion on Norton Anti Virus.
Thanks Ken Clark

I would get Ad-Aware and/or Spybot Search and destroy. Both are on Download.com. Update and run. That should take care of your problem. I would disable your system restore before you run either.

Good luck
Tim
