trojandownloader.xs

By 1bn0 ·
Does anyone have any real information on this justification for capitol punishment?

I have seen two machines infected with this. I formated the first one and have not had a chance to work on the second one.

Now I have work machine infected. It's at a remote location and the regular tech for that location is off till Tueday.

I have seen this site:

http://www.trojan-downloader-removal.com.removal-instructions.com/removeTrojanDownloader.html

But I haven't seen anything to indicate this isn't the same outfit responsible for the malware in the first place.

I don't see any mainstream sites with information.

Any suggestions?

Spyhunter

It is actually legit. But if you want to use it you have to pay for it. I loathe crippled software. A better alternative is Spybot.

A link to removal instructions.

There could be variants of trojan that causes this worm to infect computers. I think it can be remove with SmitFRaudFix as stated here.
