Trouble Burning Cd’s on Windows 2000

OS: windows 2000
processor: dual 1.2 ghz Athlon
I am using easy cd and when I try to burn a cd, the system either stands still or seems to write without error before it closes the session the software stops right before writing the TOC. Is there aknown problems with windows 2000 and Easy Cd Creator?
