We had our Dell Inspiron with Truemobile 1300 802.11 b/g PC Card that was running under Windows XP Home and everything seemed great, until I upgraded it to Vista Home Premium. The computer connects to the adapter but I have no connection to the internet. The installation went fine and the adapter card’s power led is on but the communication led is always off. I created the network connection manually with the correct password but something is missing. I’m using the same settings we use to connect our other laptop (a Toshiba with Vista Home Premium too) but it is no longer working for the Dell Inspiron. Is there a patch for this adapter at Dell? Help! This is my wife’s machine and she’s over my shoulders right now! 🙂
