I am using Kate’s video cutter to cut vcd and save the files in wmv formats. Earlier the software was working well, but after some downloads from the internet. It is causing problems now. I am not able to save file now. When I try to save the file, the save file dialogue box opens for a file and before entering the name of the file, software closes. I am windows xp sp2. I have uninstalled those programs now but still the problem continues. I made a search for the problem and found that I should set Windows media player as default player. I have done that also. I am windows media encoder 9 series also installed on my computer. Please help me in fixing this problem. Thanks.
