I’m currently running Windows ME. Last night I downloaded VDOLive player from the internet. Now every time I open an application or file within an app. I get an “Internet Explorer” dialog box that says,
“An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction? Yes or No.”
This happens offline on my desktop. An example would be when I open My Computer, My Documents, or Recycle bin I get that dialog box. But when I open Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Windows Media Player, I do not get the dialog box. I have uninstalled the VDO player and I have checked the ActiveX settings in Internet Explorer. Everything is as it should be. I have also tried System Restore and noluck. What should I do?
