What kind of printer is it.

How do you have it connected (USB, Parallel)?

Have you tried deleting the printer in question and then reinstalling it?

Hi

Go into the computer's BIOS (normally by pressing DEL when the machine starts up), and check your printer ports. Make sure they are configured for bidirectional communication.

If this does not work try uninstalling the printer driver, then reinstalling it. If no luck, download an updated driver from the manufacturer, and install it. Also, try using Windows update to update your machine. Run SFC to make sure all your system files are intact.

Are there any diagnostics you can run on the printer? These may give you some help. If all this fails, ring the manufacturer for help.

Good luck

I found how to fix it. I uninstalled and deleted everything that had to do with a printer on my machine and re-installed my printer.
