Troubleshoot Windows 2000 Server

I administer a small office network (1 server running WIN 2K Server, x number of clients running WIN 2K).

I am receiving the following error message from each client, attempting to access the server.

” The list of servers for this workgroup isnot currently available.”

What are possible causes ? What techniques can I use to troubleshoot ?
