Can any one tell me what might be the problem with this console connection, or lack there of?
I am a CCNA student working for a cisco hardware reseller. I am able to console into all my lab equipment with the current PC and cables, but when i connect to any new equipment the console seems to be dead. I performed all the troubleshooting i have been taught to do(ie change cables, change adapters, change equipment, at one point i did have a pc here that would con into anything, but was told by my boss i couldnt have my personal PCs here. so now im stuck with the company pc that wont con into everything. what is strange to me is that this pc will con into any thing that i previously con’ed into but nothing new. Please help quick. boss is lossing it.
