troubleshooting home networks.

my problem is that when ever i try to connect to the other computers in my home network, i keep coming up with an error.

i try to map the network drives . the main system is running windows 98 and the others are running windows 95 please help.

Nothing noted about how you are networking the computers,B other computers I take you are using a router to connect the computers
Make sure that all your NIC cards have correct drivers,open network neighborhood from the control panel,choose client for microsoft networks and then runset up for file and print sharing,check your kprotocols and make sure that you are using TCP/IP.
I would suggest that you repost the question and give specifics as to what error message you are getting and how you are networking the computers

Make sure you have the appropriate protocols installed. Make sure that your computers all have the same name for the workgroup (control panel > network > identification), and make sure that you are sharing the C drive on each computer so you can access it (there will be a little hand under the c drive if it is shared).
