I joined this group, the other day, and was prompted to download TRpasswordsplus as a freebie. However it will not unzip, but instead just says "Please insert the last disk in the multi disk set"? I can't find where the software is on the site to re-download. Any ideas?

Is your problem zipfile one of these?

Perhaps you could point out which one you have.

You could try finding an alternative download elsewhere ...

By installing a download manager and downloading it again.

When it then fails to arrive intact, the download manager would offer to go off onto the 'Net and root out any alternative sites that are hosting the same download file.

With a bit of luck, one of the alternatives wouldn't be corrupted.

There is a legal and free "Lite" version, but unless you go looking for a cracked version, it's $29.95.

If the OP still has the link in the TR welcome email, he should try again after deleting the bad file.

Otherwise, he should contact support.

He might be having difficulty with the free version, in which case something like Download Accelerator Plus would find the free version scattered all round the 'net surely?

TRPasswordsPlus specifically is only available upon signing up with TR. It is the same as the $30 PasswordsPlus, but free, from TR. It is one of 3 premium apps offered for free upon joining - yer free gift type of thing. I got the same app this way.

The only other way to get it free and legal is the PP Lite version, which can be had from CNET Download.

I've heard of people having problems with the free gift downloads from TR more than once, so I suggest either re-downloading, if possible, if the OP still has the welcome mail from TR, or contacting support, which all previous people asking about this eventually had to do.

Old Post Codes and Telephone Numbers ...

by OldER Mycroft In reply to Only one.

Been using 'em for years as passwords.

Unless someone has followed me around Planet Earth for the last 35 years they don't have a snowball in ****'s chance of cracking my passwords.

Even if they found out my work history they'd be snookered by the number of buildings that no longer exist - car parks and football pitches don't have telephones and certainly don't receive postal deliveries! :^0

And I use no storage method of interest.

For anything truly important, it is only in my head.

Interesting way for you to go, though. I like it.

Yep, I remember that.

It sounds like the file had not finished downloading or is otherwise corrupt.
