Lilacs – better shot this time, then Japanese Yellow Rose. The Japanese Yellow Rose spread into my yard from the neighbor – they tried to apologize but I said Thank you so much! It blooms multiple times throughout the season which is always nice. The leaf shape and texture is pretty cool too, and the yellow is just brilliant.

The iris are starting to come in now, I can’t wait to see if the black ones bloom this year. I’m wanting to add some new ones, but I also want to add some true red peony and red currants. I really want black currants but supposedly they don’t do well in my neck of the woods. I also would like to add some more asparagus, and find a spot for horseradish. Nothing quite like the fresh stuff!
