We’re migrating some Novell Netware servers to Windows 2003 Server, but our situation is something strange.
WE have two trusted domains in different forests:
Domain A- Forest A- Windows 2000 native mode
Domain B- Forest B- Windows 2003 native mode
Our intention is to consolidate both domains into domain A, when domain A is migrated to 2003 native mode. At this moment, we’re migrating Novell Netware servers to Windows 2003 servers. These windows 2003 servers belong to domain A, but computers working against these servers belong to domain B.
We’ve just set up one of theses servers and users are suffering constant lost of connection with the server.
The server is located in a peripheral office. It’s the only server there and is a meber server. There’s no domain controller neither global catalog at this office. There are secure communications between the office and heardquartes.
Any idea?.
