Trying to remember a sci-fi show from the early or mid '90s

I received the following question from a TechRepublic member via e-mail. I asked some of my colleagues, and we couldn't think of the answer, so I thought I'd pose it here.

"Hi, I am trying to remember a Sci-Fi show form the early or mid '90. The premise was how people will handle new technology in the future. I don't remember the name of the show, however the city the show took place was Beta City. Do you remember it, and do you remember the name? One episodes was about a married couple fighting and they changed their gender to understand each other."

Thanks in advance,

Though I'm blowed if I can remember the Name of it.

But I do remember the Plot and the Beta City bit from something a long time ago, it however was more recent than Space 1999 if that is of any use.

Battlestar Galactica was also good for the first 5 episodes. After that.... Space 1999 was ok, Didn't like Martin Landau so didn't like the show.

Star Trek is my favorite even today.

Stargate Atlantis...I'm looking forward to their new series coming out soon too...we were also big fans of Jericho, it broke my heart when the show was cancelled...even though they did an "ending" so to speak, it still left me wanting more.

was some cheezy ABC movie from the late 70's where a couple was fighting, and they touched this vase they bought from some sale, it made them swap bodies with each other. part that icked me out was when they got their groove on with each other aka themselves. eww!

I vaguely remember that. At least that way, you know what you like.
