Setup:
NT4 PDC, Win2k Server (AD). On both, DHCP and DNS are disabled and provided by SMC router (latest firmware) connected to DSL Modem with Dynamic IP by provider. All workstations are wireless; the two servers are hardwired. TS is set up in remote admin mode.
Via the LAN clients stay connected until the cows come home. Via the internet, connections have generally been terminated within five minutes. The settings have been adjusted to allow for 10 minutes on idle activity.
Q: Has anyone with this similar setup had the same symptoms and resolved them successfully?
