TSE access via internet

By jmajcher ·
I have a win2000 Terminal server on a Lan which is connected to the net via a DSL connection. Can I connect to that TSE server via an internet connection at another facility which is connected to the net via ISDN behind a Proxy server?
Is this possible without VPN?

Thanks
Jeff

TSE access via internet

It depends on two things :-

- Is the proxy server acting as any kind of firewall, blocking ports and so on? TS uses 1789 by default

- Does the TS connected to the DSL have a "ping-able" IP address from other internet boxes?

If the proxy server isn't blocking any ports, and you can ping the TS, then you should be all set...

Thanks
