Tungsten E2 palm pilot – will not turn on!

please help! I have a Tungsten E2 PalmOne. My whole life is in there! This morning, it just did not turn on. It was fully charged and worked fine yesterday. I charged it up again just to make sure, but it just won’t power up. Its imperative that I retrieve the infomration inside of it. Please help.
