Hi ,
i have created a VPN site to site to tunnel to another site .One end has PIX and the other end terminates with Nortel box .
The tunnel is properly established and it works fine almost all the times .I can see the whether the tunnel is esatblished in the PIX firewall and it shows the tunnel is created between the remote and local end.
But at some times i see that the tunnel is not established and it shows in the pending state when i check with command line in the PIX.
When i shutdown and restart that it works again fine and after some time the tunnel is established.
This is not the problem on the other end (nortel box) since i can access the same from my VPN dialup account ….
What could be the problem ,why it builds again when i restart whereas through the same firewall i’m able to browser other sites …
is it a internet line problem or any hacker attempt.
please help
