Tweak XP prevents programs running

I ran a utility called Tweak XP on my new PC at work, hoping to improve performance. Unfortunately I subsequently found that several programs would only run when I was logged in as administrator, not with my normal user account. I have checked the permissions for these programs – all are fully enabled. Our IT support people can’t solve the problem – help please!!
