Two DVD burners in PC – how to default a source and destination drive

by james10s . Updated 19 years, 4 months ago

My PC (Windows XP) has two DVD burners (drive D and E). When I want to copy a disk in drive D onto a blank disk in drive E, I have to manually select (click arrow next to drive letter) the destination drive prior to beginning of burn; otherwise, drive D first reads source material then asks for blank media to be placed in same (D) drive. How can I configure the two drives so that drive D is always the default source drive and E is always the destination drive?
