Two Laptops using One Screen

Hey Folks,

Wondering what would be the simplest way to accomplish the following.

I have Two Laptops, on one of them the screen is just about shot, and the other is almost new. So I was wondering, short of creating a network, if and how I could connect the two Laptops and use the Screen of the one that’s working for both.

Would this require a hub or is there software that could accomplish this task?
