I have a user with a laptop running win98 who commutes two of our organization’s sites. The main site is an client/server NT network with a T1 connection to the Internet. The second site is a peer-to-peer network with a DSL connection to the Internet. The problem is that when this user wants to connect to the Internet at the second site his TCP/IP settings must be changed to accomodate this. When he comes back to the main site, he can’t logon to our network, thus another change must be made. All of this creates a good amount of work for both myself and the technician at the second site. Is there any way to get around having to make these changes every time this user switches sites?
Thanks.
