Two Routers

By jbossnack ·
I currently have a Cisco 6513 as the core of our network (SUP2 supervisor module) with a router blade module WS-F6K-PFC2 added as a daughter card.

I've got another 6509 that has the same supervisor module and router blade.

I want the student traffic on the campus to go through router A and the faculty traffic to go through router B.

I understand how to set up VLAN's on one router and trunk them to edge switches.

But I need help with adding a second router. How do I get them to communicate? Any helpful tips on how to implement this?

I'm doing this to segment the network, as well as take the student traffic physically and logically away from the faculty and academic traffic, mostly for security reasons.
