I have installed ubuntu and win XP to dual boot on my mecer laptop. The installation was painless and both Oses work well. But when i boot in Ubuntu, the laptop loses battery power in less than 10 minutes even when the battery is fully charged, so I have to use AC all the time. But the battery goes for upto 40 minutes when fully charged when I boot in XP. What could be the problem.
