Ultimate boot disk via hd

    by onlinegeek101 ·

I currently use this thing called the ultimate boot disk to run my bootable version of ghost. I have a external hard drive that I want to be able to boot to from my bios which I my bios can do. How can I make this drive boot using the files from the ultimate boot disk. I basically want the function of the ultimate boot disk but on a hard drive. Anyone know where to start?

The whole principle of the UBCD …

Is that you can boot to a self-contained OS without any involvement of the PC hardware. That way, if there is a problem on any hard drive preventing it from booting, you always have the alternative of booting to the UBCD.

Since the UBCD is a Read Only media, once you have burned it to disc it CANNOT get infected by any malware (this would not be true of any PC hard drive).

New! Run Ultimate Boot CD from your USB memory stick. A script on the CD prepares your USB memory stick so that it can be used on newer machines that supports booting from USB devices. You can access the same tools as you would from the CD version.
