Unable to browse!

By randerson7 ·
In IE 6.0, unable to go to Google or Yahoo. etc., but will redirect to Unable to locate any associated files or executables for this redirection. How do I prevent this redirection and prevent in the future. We are a school district governed by policies and internet filters (access to Starware site is blocked as spyware).

looks like you've attracted something nasty.
Run the regular adware/spyware scans. Also check your c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file.
It most likely has a bunch of entries in it that redirect any queries to starware.

I agree with the above answer.... probably a spyware infection of some kind. I would suggest using a tool like "Hijack this" which you are welcome to D/L from my site. (A not always up-to date mirror.)
