When I attempt to download the game i recieve a msg telling me software is not downloading.I use the install application with the cd.I look at my program folder and find the title listed in the column;however when I try to open it a window appears telling me it is not installed.I am running xp home upgrade(registered) Prior to this I was using an unregistered copy of xp pro.;which also failed to accept the vid game mentioned. thanks

Hi.

First lets find out how much memory you have. From your question looks like Win 98. You can find out total memory in a few ways. On your Desktop right click My Computer and go to Properties. You can also find this out and a few other specs about your system by going to Start > Run and typing msinfo32.

You probably want to check and make sure you have enough disk space left. I know when I have had a system for sometime I always seem to fill up just about all of it with games, apps and graphics.

You also mentioned that you had trouble downloading a game (do you mean installing..?) If you mean downloading that it could be a few things. Are you behind a firewall..? Also, your IE properties may not allow the download because of scripts, cookies, etc.

A tool that I use sometimes to troubleshoot Display and Sound issues is the Direct X Diagnostic Tool. You can access this tool by going to Start > Run and typing in dxdiag.

Hope this helps. Please reply if you have any further questions.

Good Luck.
