Is there anymore DHCP addresses

by ksweeney In reply to Unable to fetch IP Addres ...

The DHCP addresses come from a DHCP server.
The server must be programmed with the quantity of addresses that can be given out.

So is there anymore addresses available?

Also, is the DCHP server on the same LAN or on the other side of a router?
If it is on the other side then the router must have an IP helper running on it to tell the device requesting the IP where the server is.

OR, the DHCP server might be blocking the MAC address for your PC.

Finally, If you have the DHCP server setup to give out the IP to a specfic MAC the maybe you typed it incorrect?

first check wether all other systems get ip address form dhcp server with out any problem. Check your DHCP server settings like reservation and how many ip address added in that Scope.
