Unable to List Printer In Directory – Any Ideas Why?

From our print server which is a Windows 2003 Standard SP1 (not a DC) I open up the printers properties and on the sharing tab I check “List in Directory” I apply my settings but then when I re-open the properties the “List in directory” is unchecked again.

Does anyone know why this is happening?
