unable to load hpjdnp.dll

By RG11 ·
I have a dell optiplex on a network with a local and a network printer installed. When I turn on the pc right before my network login screen comes up, I get a box with a message that comes up saying "unable to load HPJDNP.dll one of the library files needed to run this cant be found. Some of the features may not be available-HP network printers." Then I click ok the box goes away and I log into the network and everything works fine. I uninstalled all printers and still got the message. Anysuggestions?

The file is included with Windows and is one of the Jet Direct Admin support files. I would re-install your HP network printer and the Jet Admin utility. One of the related files that it needs to load has either become corrupted or deleted. Exactly what functionality is lost, I don't know...but I would certainly want to get rid of the error.
