when receiving emails in group wise with a word or excel document that has more than one word in the file name attached to it and try to open the document it cant open the file.
ex . if file name is “report one of two” get and error saying cant open report.xls..then click ok it then says cant open one.xls..and so on, but if copy the file to computer and rename it to a name like “report-one-of-two”
then the file is able to be opened. also if the file is saved to computer and then opened from within excel or word there is no problem opening them… word and excel will not open files received attached to emails under groupwise if there are any spaces in the file name. system has windows 98, groupwise, office 97 professional.
