I had to perform restore from MS Backup and now my system doesn?t recognize my USB devices (external hard drive or thumb drives) and it won?t let me map a network drive (unable to see workgroups) to computers on my network. This all works fine on my other two computers attached to this home network. I cannot map back to this computer that I just restored to. I?ve uninstalled and disabled drivers and let windows xp pro repopulate without success. I did xp set up repair, installed sp2 & 3 and all updates without success. I upgraded mother board bios without success.
