    Unable to share printers

    I have machines running WinXP connecting to a windows2003 domain and I am unable to share printers. I get a message saying unable to connect to printer when the address is entered manually, and when browsing I cannot get access to the machine the printer is connected to. I am also having some issues with the file sharring on the XP machines, the share on the windows2003 server works wonderfully.

      Check your ICF. Network connections properties…advanced tab..uncheck it if it is checked. You have to be able to access the machines first that the printers are connected to if they are local to those machines. Check the properties of the printers and make sure they are shared.
