I recently installed, configured and successfully connected my win2k pc and xp laptop through a wireless firewall router to access the internet. Unfortunately, i am unable to share the resources of the pc to the laptop and the other way round. Both have the same workgroup name, but cannot connect to each other. I'd like to be able to share the printer (currently connected to win2k pc) with the laptop through the router and also files and folers on the pc and the other way round. How do i do this?

On the XP make sure you have the guest account enabled. If you have any software firewalls (Zone Alarm, NAV, MCafee firewall) make sure they are not causing your problem I would temporarily disable them to make sure they are not stopping your from networking.
Thanks guys, i had to enable sharing in windows and permit netbios for this pc and main pc only in both software firewalls. i'm amazed it works so well, especially with the high level of protection!!
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
