Microsoft Exchange MTA Stacks Service is not running on my server and not participating in message routing.
When i am trying to start this service it gives me following error.
Could Not Start Microsoft Exchange MTA Stacks Service On Local Computer.
Error 1053: The Service Did Not Respond To The Start Or Control Request In A Timely Dashion
In Event Viewer I can Find Following Events :
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7000
Date: 1/13/2008
Time: 5:45:55 PM
User: N/A

I am running Exchange 2003 Server With SP2 installed over windows 2003 enterprise server platform installed all service packs/patches/hotfiexes/security updates.
Can, someone help me in this problem, how to resolve.
