Unable to view video in Netmeeting

Few more details: Sound comes across fine on Win XP and both audio and video are received at the Windows 2000 machine. However, receiving video in Netmeeting on Win XP is the issue. The version of Netmeeting is the same on both machines and it all worked fine Win 2k to Win Me.

Are you and the person your trying to connect with behind firewalls? I have had great difficutly getting to hook video/sound up behind my netgear router when connecting with someone else who also uses a router. Even placing the system into the "DMZ" doesn't help as it has to do with NAT. If your both behind firewalls, the quickest (not the best) is to bypass your router completely. That's what has worked so far for me. If it's just you behind the firewall try port forwarding 1720 and 1503.

Thanks Mr Chip. Only the XP machine is behind a firewall on a D-Link router. Not sure about the Win2k machine, don't think so. I will try the port forwarding and see if that works. Thanks again.
