My computer refuses to accept to the C: drive any file with the prefix “cdrom.*”. This is preventing me using my Widows XP Installation because it halts at “cannot write Cdrom.inf” and “Cdrom.sys”. I have another computer bought from the same dealer with the same problem. A third machine has no problem. What gives???
