Unattended Install for a specific file, not an operating system.

By edjr_0 ·
I am trying to figure out a way to create an unattended install for a specific executable. I would like the users to be able to click the file and it automatically installs (silently) without prompting them for anything.

The file in question is the Microsoft Office Compatibility 2007 update.

Can anyone possibly point me in the right direction? Is there scripting or coding I can find somewhere?

TIA

FileFormatConverters.exe?
If so, run it with /passive and /quiet, (and probably /norestart) options. You could set up a shortcut, or a script in your favorite scripting language to accomplish this.

run FileFormatConverters.exe /? to see the other options available to you.
