Unattended Software Install

by andrew caple . Updated 17 years, 8 months ago

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping that someone could point me in the right direction. I have an exe file that is currently located on a network drive and I need to get this installed onto 100+ machines.

I was thinking that I’d use PsExec to copy the application to the users drive and to run the app from there. However, is there a tool that can “record” the install steps (ie: I Agree, Next, Next, Finsh)?

I don’t want the users to see the dialog boxes or to know that the application has been installed.

Any suggestions would be welcome, the application is called SmartBreak and can be found here: http://www.inchwest.com/smartbreak.aspx)

Thanks for your help.

Regards… Andrew
