I recently suffered from a hard drive failure which corrupted the boot sectors in the OS. Most of my files are encrypted and I am able access the remains of the old hard drive with a ERD disc or connecting it to another computer. How can I unencryptmy files so I can transfer and view them onto my system?
I’ve heard of people talking about apps to possibly reverse the encryption process and I’ve tried making a new .pfx and .cer policy with the hopes to regain admin rights to the folders and decrypt the suckers; no luck. Does anybody have a possible solution I can try? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I am/was using WinXP Pro prior and present to this mishap.
