Uninstall IE 6.0 in Windows 2000/SP4

By IT Killer ·
I use a windows 2000 professional/SP4 and I would like to know whether I can manuel uninstall/remove IE6.0 completely on my PC. MS website suggest me to uninstall the SP4 first, otherwise, the IE6 wouldn't be seen in add/remove program under control panel. I also try to run "C:\program files\internet explorer\IE Uninstall\w2kexcp.exe" /U in comand line. It doesn't work either. is anybody out there has a trick to remove the IE6 in windows2000 professional/SP4 in place? Please advice, Thanks.

Use a program on the web called "IEradicator"... It will fully remove I.E. even in windows 2k with some error messages.

Prior to using it, ensure you have a full working installation of whatever I.E. you plan to use.
