How to uninstall Office XP under Windows 2000 Pro?

Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
Scroll down to Office XP and select it, then click on remove.

And remember when it asks if you want to remove shared components you want to say no - since spellcheck and grammer checker and such that are "shared" between not only office but programs like ms money and ms works will need them - since if you remove them you will end up on able to run spell check and such (that is if they get removed) and you would end up reinstalling ms money/works etc.

also note that other isntalled components to the OS are installed and can't be uninstalled - example isDirect X - if it installed a newer verison of Direct X than what was on your system it will not be removed - you can only go up in version - so if the reason you need to unisntall it is Something like Direct X then you are out of luck....

Again just some thoughts.
