Uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection without a password

By mak15 ·
Dear all, I installed Symantec Endpoint Protection on my client's computer (Windows XP), which has slow down the boot up time and annoying virus detention alert every time when access the network drive.

I wanted to uninstall it but is asking password which I don't have. Anyone has the same problem? Any ideas?

*I tried to terminate or bypass the password window but with no success!

Thanks for any inputs!

Do you have admin rights on this machine?

Is this system part of a network with some form of Symantec central management? That might be requesting credentials to proceed with the uninstall.

Just guessing.

Thanks for your quick reply! It's not part of network! I have the administrator right in the computer. I asked the guy who gave me the installation file, he said I have to reimage the computer for this issue because we didn't provide any password.
