Boot machine with win 2000 cd in, if that doesn’t work boot from win98 boot disk with cd support then install win 2000 reformat your hard drive, recommend you use NTFS format.

The boot loader information for a dual boot machine is found in the boot.ini file on the c_drive. If you edit this program and eliminate references to drive_d and the win 2000 installation you should be able to re-install 2000. Hope this helps and good luck.

Boot your machine from a Win98 boot disk. From the A> prompt type in SYS c: This will eliminate the screen asking which OS to use. You should then be able to re-install Win2K
