PROBABLY YOU HAVE DELETED ONE OR MORE UNINSTALLING FILES FROM THE ORIGINAL INSTALATION.
IF YOU WANT TO MAKE SPACE, DELETE THS SUB DIRECTORY WHERE THE \DATA AND \BIN FILES ARE IN.
bE SURE TO HAVE THE SQL* SERVICES STOPPED (3 IN TOTAL) AND CHANGE THEM TO MANUALLY.

iF YOU NEED TO CLEAR EVERY REGISTRY KEY, JUST INSTALL SQL 6.5 OVER THE CURRENT INSTALATION, SELECTING “REPLACE” CURRENT INSTALATION.

      HOPE IT HELP!!!

I would not recomend deleting directories without removing the registry entries. If you ran the SQLSETUP and chose the REMOVE option and it did not work, then re-install SQL. Then use the REMOVE option to delete it properly.
Do you plan on putting on another version of SQL? If so then migrate the information.
      Good luck.
