Unique Aliases....

By vincentharris_97 ·
I've got about 600 email users and I've just been told to add something unique to the end of each one of their aliases. It's the same thing for each one of them but I want to know if there's an easier way for me to make the change or do I have to manually change them ?

It's Exchange Server 5.5 and it runs great. I know there's a setting for new mailboxes but I want to change the way the existing mailboxes handle the aliases. Talk to ya soon.

Hi,

You can try to do the following:

In Exchange Administrator:
Click Tools, then Directory Export.
Select your desired options, specify the file name, and then click export.

This will export the Directory Store to a CSV file, which you can then open in Excel.

Make your changes here, and then import the file, using the Directory Import option in the Tools menu.

Hope this helps

Thanks alot man. That helped alot. I don't know what these "points" are that I've assigned but if it's not enough let me know. Thanks again. Hey, what else is there on this website, I'm pretty new to it. Have a great weekend and God Bless.
