University of Phoenix

By max98037 ·
Does anyone know how good University of Phoenix is? I keep seeing their commercials about online courses and they make it sound so great.
Is a bachelors or masters from them just as desirable to employers as one from any other university?

a little

One of the Smartest guys I ever worked for taught classes at Phoenix. I understand that they do draw top industry people to teach. They are expensive however. Check out a local university for continuing education. It might be a little cheaper and you can go to evening or saturday am classes. I've attended these and found them stimulating, more so than on-line classes I have taken. Good luck!

I've got a buddy...

Who got his B.S. from Phoenix. They gave him mass credits for experience and he wrapped up the rest of his degree via correspondence.

I find that if the material is dull, I crash & burn due to procrastination. Hence, remote learning doesn't workwell for me. (which is odd, since I'm reading trade pubs, manuals, and white papers all the time)

If you are like me, maybe your local community college is the way to go.
