I have a unix/Solaris 10 system that I dont think shut down correct. When I boot it it comes up with the system will not mount the console. I log on to the the reovery section then type fsck -y to fix the system, it finds errors and fixes them. I then try to shutdown the system with shutdown and it says that it does not exit, I have to use the Init 5. I then restart and the same thing happens, I ran fsck a few times but this does still not fix the problem. PS I am a newbie in Unix. Also I was wondering if there is any good docks and procedures on how to fix falied mount etc.
